Before starting my own practice, I worked with with Heritage Counseling Associates helping clients achieve the best version of themselves by providing therapeutic experiences.

I received a Master's degree in Counseling from LeTourneau University where I graduated Summa cum laude.  While training to become a mental health counselor, I worked as a High School Intervention Counselor Intern working with teenagers who struggled with anxiety, depression, bullying, abuse, grief, addiction, identity issues, and much more.  

​

I am the proud mom of a son at the University of Arkansas and a daughter at the University of Mississippi. We have a dog name Gatsby who definitely is The Great Gatsby.  Before entering the world of counseling, I worked for 11 years as a high school English teacher.  I am a 16 year cancer survivor, and that experience provides me with a new perspective on finding joy and fulfillment in everyday life. Working with others has always been my passion, and I feel fortunate to do that every day.
